Founder & Director
I started cutting hair in 2002, training under Evie Clark in Streetly – she was World Hairdresser of the Year!
As a young adult, I spent 5 years travelling the world cutting hair to feed myself. Working in St Tropez during the summer at Cannes Film Festival with french Vogue is just one of these instances, I've also had the pleasure of working in Australia, New Zealand and Ecuador.
In 2010 I moved to the capital, London, and joined Murdock as Master Barber, where I directed 6 stores.
I moved back to Birmingham to start a family and part of that family was Shepherds, a business that began in a small unit in the Piccadilly Arcade and 4 years later doubled in size facing one of Birmingham's busiest thoroughfares - New Street.
I'm proud to say that Shepherds is now the leading barbershop in the city and I have an incredible creative team working beside me that I have the pleasure to work with.
As a true Brummie, I'm unrelenting in realising the potential of the city and am proud to be a leading independent business. Moving forward, I want to continue to help other small businesses grow and work with the incredible local community in Birmingham to push our city forward.
Currently working as a personal stylist to Ricki Hall. Have a look at some of the styles down below.
